ISTE STANDARDS


1.c.a . ISTE STANDARDS:

The ISTE standards are a framework for students, educators, administrators, coaches, to rethink education and create innovative learning environments. The standards are helping educators and education leaders worldwide reengineer schools and classroom for digital age learning.

  1. The ISTE standards for students:  The ISTE Standards for Students are designed to empower the student's voice and ensure that learning is a student-driven process. Connect with other educators in the ISTE standards community and know how to use the standards in the classroom with the ISTE standards for students ebook.
THE ISTE STANDARDS FOR STUDENTS:
  • Empowered learner: students leverage technology to take an active role in achieving competency in their learning goals. eg: students build networksand customize their learning enviroments in ways that support the learning process. 
  • digital citizen:   eg: Students demonstrate an understanding of and respect for the rights and obligations of using intellectual property
  • knowledge constructor: Students evaluate the acuracy, , credibility of information, media, data or other resources.
  • innovative designer:eg: Students develop, test and refine protoypes as part of a cyclical design process.
  • computational thinker:eg: Students understand how automation works and use algorithmic thinking to develop a sequence of steps to create and test automated solutions.
  • creative communicator: Students create original works or responsibly  repurpose or remix digital resources into new creations.
  • global collaborator: eg: Students contribute contructively to project teams, assuming various roles  and responsibilities to work effectively toward a common goal.

  • learner:eg: Set professional learning goals to explore and apply  pedagogical approaches and reflect on their effectiveness.
  • leader: Advocate for equitable access to educational tchnology, digital content and learning opportunity to meet the diverse need of all students.
  • citizen: Model and promote management of personal data andm digital identity  and protect student data privacy.
  • Collaborator: Dedicate planning time to collaborate with colleagues to create authentic learning experiences that leverage technology designer:Explore and apply instructional design principles to create innovative digital learning environments that engage and support learning.
  • facilitator: Manage the use of technology in digital platforms, virtual environments, hands-on maker spaces or in the field.
  • analyst: Provide alternative ways for students to  demonstrate competency

WEBQUESTS

1.e.a.i    WEBQUEST    is a new digital platform that is used to explore the lesson from net, it is designed based on a question by using the problem-based learning strategy. it is for high order thinking skills. ii.The elements for WEBQUEST are: introduction: brainstorming, open-ended question task: what is the task that the student should accomplish at the end of the lesson that we will evaluate him through process: the references that the student will use to understand the lesson through as videos, websites... evaluation: evaluating the task that the student produce rubric: putting the concepts that the students will be evaluated based on it teacher page: the objectives that will be acquired by the students at the end of the lesson. iii. ASSURE MODEL

1. d.a.  ASSURE MODEL is a new didactique as lesson plan to integrate technology to education. Each letter is for a specific step. A-Analyze learner : the analysis should take into consideration: academic abilities and interests of the learner prior learning outcomes learning styles such as auditory, visual, and tactile.
