ASSURE MODEL

1. d.a.  ASSURE MODEL is a new didactique as lesson plan to integrate technology to education.
Each letter is for a specific step.

A-Analyze learner :
the analysis should take into consideration:

  • academic abilities and interests of the learner
  • prior learning outcomes
  • learning styles such as auditory, visual, and tactile.
S-State objectives:
After analyzing learners the teacher must state the objectives relevant to the instruction to be delivered.

S-Select methods, technology, and materials:
the teacher has to select appropriate strategies media and materials that address the objectives.

Strategies:

  • lecture discussion
  • demonstration
  • showing video
  • group discussion
technology:

  • powerpoint
  • movie
  • stimulation
  • drill/practice
U-UTILIZE TECHNOLOGY and materials:

  • preview the technology and materials
  • prepare the technology and materials
  • prepare the environment
  • prepare learners
R-Require learner participation:
the teacher should plan how he is going to engage his students and how the students will participate in the learning process.

E-Evaluate and revise:

  • reflect on your implementation of the lesson
  • evaluate the impact of your teaching on student learning
  • evaluate the teaching strategies, technology, and materials

    WEBQUESTS

    1.e.a.i    WEBQUEST    is a new digital platform that is used to explore the lesson from net, it is designed based on a question by using the problem-based learning strategy. it is for high order thinking skills. ii.The elements for WEBQUEST are: introduction: brainstorming, open-ended question task: what is the task that the student should accomplish at the end of the lesson that we will evaluate him through process: the references that the student will use to understand the lesson through as videos, websites... evaluation: evaluating the task that the student produce rubric: putting the concepts that the students will be evaluated based on it teacher page: the objectives that will be acquired by the students at the end of the lesson. iii.
